12/19/04 - Need gift ideas? Check out my list of loft books at Amazon.com. 12/18/04 - Added the Wooster and Mercer Lofts in Arlington to the Lofts Directory. Added Logan Villa and Laurel Highlands to the New Condo Directory. 12/11/04 - Interesting plans to convert the old Lorton prison into a mixed use development including residential lofts. The Washington Post reports that home market values continue to rise. 12/05/04 - Added Whitman Condos and The Portner in the Mt. Vernon Ave. area and Cameron Station Condos in Alexandria, Va. to the New Condo Directory page. 12/04/04 - Read an interesting New York Times article, 'Factory Chic' Where Least Expected.
11/30/04 - Updated several properties in the Silver Spring area in the New Condo Directory page thanks to a friendly source. 11/27/04 - Added The Gallery at White Flint Place in Bethesda and the Views at Clarendon in Arlington to the New Condo Directory section. 11/20/04 - Added the Hiatt to the directory of lofts in DC. Kenyon Square, with loft units, is now selling 46 units. The kick-off party for The Beauregard is on Dec. 1 Added the Mercer, Parc Reston, Sterling, and the Wilton House at Dunn Loring to the New Condo Directory section.

9/25/04 - Delancey Lofts in Adams Morgan added to the DC part of the loft directory. 9/19/04 - PN Hoffman publishes the floor plans for Chase Point Condominiums in Bethesda. The Rhapsody in the U Street corridor reports that it has sold 140 units, more than 90% sold out. A few 2 and 3 bedrooms are available from the $400's. 9/16/04 - Check out this cool loft in Adams Morgan in an old school that is for sale. There's an open house this Sunday.
9/10/04 - Updated information
on the Lofts at Brightwood and Lamont Lofts added to the DC page of the
directory.
8/27/04 - Added The Matinee by Macy Development in the U Street Corridor area on the DC section of the directory. 8/22/04 - Added the Joule in Arlington to the directory of lofts in Virginia. PN Hoffman has posted sample floor plans for Union Square at the corner of 14th and V Streets in D.C. (formerly Fristo Flats and Alley).
8/21/04 - The Ellington
apartments, which has a few loft units, is featured in
"It's Home Chic Home in Trendy U St. Neighborhood" article in the
Washington Post.
8/17/04 - The
Washington Business Journal recently reported that Abdo Development is
planning a condo building project in Arlington, Va. with 54 loft-style units.
7/28/04 - Adams Station by PN Hoffman sold out, Fristo Flats & Fristo Alley by PN Hoffman renamed to Union Square. See the DC section of the loft directory for updated information on these lofts. 7/27/04 - DCLofts.com is mentioned in the August issue of Washingtonian magazine in an article titled "Dream Digs" by Sara Wildberger. 7/27/04 - Added Lofts at Brightwood, W Street Residence, and The Nebraska to the DC section of the loft directory. 7/26/04 - The Gaslight and Lamont Street lofts were added to the DC section and the West Lee to the Virginia section of the loft directory. 7/24/04 - Check out the new furniture stores added to the Resources page.
7/24/04 - Several new lofts

including Lofts at Columbia Station and Villages at Shirlington in Virginia as
well as The Fitzgerald and a planned building in the "Upper Rock District" in
Rockville, Md.
6/22/04 - Rutherford Condos with loft-style penthouses are now 80% sold out. 6/20/04 - Vesta Home, a contemporary furniture store, opens its first U.S. store at 3101 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington, Va. 6/16/04 - More than 50% of Lofts 24 in Maryland have been sold and Phase 1 & 2 at PN Hoffman's The Alta in Thomas Circle sold out. 6/9/04 - Our mailing list just hit 2,000 people! DCLofts.com draws an average of 3,500 unique visitors each month.
6/7/04 - The Escalade on
Capitol Hill added to the directory.
5/28/04 - More than 25% of the units in Lofts 24 in Silver Spring have been reserved. 5/27/04 - Nearly 50% of the units at PN Hoffman's The Alta at Thomas Circle have been reserved. 5/24/04 - Several loft properties in the Baltimore, Md. area were added including Clipper Mill and Munsey Building.
5/23/04 - Open houses at Adams
Station and Lenox School Lofts on Sunday, 5/23. See the Washington Post for
details. One bedroom unit at The Lofts at Adams Morgan (2328 Champlain St.,
#314) is holding an open house. 5/01/04 - Lofts 14 phase 2 is sold out.
4/30/04 -
Halstead at the Metro
is
holding its priority preview reception on May 5 at McCormick & Schmick's in
McLean.
4/16/04 - Now that the tax
deadline has passed, it's time to party! The
6th Street Flats in
Chinatown is having a party on April 21 at the Ginger Cove located at 444 8th
St, NW from 6 to 9 p.m. The
Rhapsody will
hold its preview party on April 27 from 6 to 8 pm. at Republic Gardens on U
Street.
3/07/04 - Washington Post article on District's East End mentions several loft properties. 3/05/04 - Residences at Station Square in Arlington releases additional units for sale, new loft floor plans for the Alta now available, only 2 loft units left at the Metro loft, check out the last 9 units at Adams Row.
