A new 59-story mixed-use skyscraper with luxury condos, hotel, and retail space is planned for a two-acre parking lot that was formerly the site of the McCormick & Company spice plant that was demolished in 1989. The building will have 285 luxury and loft units with high ceilings, oversized windows, balconies, and roof terraces. The hotel portion will have 192 rooms. The building will be the tallest structure in Baltimore with 1.3 million square feet of space. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Delivery date is in 2010. Design publicly revealed in February 2006.

The former Calvert School, located in the historic Mt. Vernon district, was converted into a 15-unit condominium building. The original 4-story building was renovated with all new interior construction plus a new fifth floor and penthouse level. There are 4 studio, 1 one-bedroom, and 10 two-bedroom units ranging between 550 to more than 1,600 square feet in size. Originally plans were to build an 18 floors of apartment units above an existing 10-story parking garage, but the plans were scrapped in 2002. The new developer is now constructing 21 floors above the garage with 312 condominium units for sale. Located next to the Inner Harbor, the building will include one and two bedroom units available in two styles of luxury finishes. The Classic series features gourmet kitchens, crown molding, and ceramic tile flooring while the Platinum series includes hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, and other contemporary finishes.

Amenities include a fitness center, two-level cascading outdoor pool, business center, and party room. The architect is Lessard Architectural Group of Arlington, VA. Originally priced from the low $200's.

As of July 2006, the developer has cancelled the condo conversion of the 243-unit, 14-story apartment complex called Cambridge at 3900 according to this article in the Baltimore Messenger.

The property is located in walking distance to Johns Hopkins University and Loyola University. Common areas were renovated including a new theater and library. Units were to feature a choice of hardwood floors throughout the living areas and kitchen, gourmet kitchens with granite and stainless steel, personal wine cabinet, and oversized windows. The original pricing ranged from the $200's to the mid-$500's.

Condo conversion cancelled. Delivery was originally expected in the summer of 2006.

Units feature fireplaces, marble floors, granite counter tops, and Viking stainless steel appliances. Some units will have rooftop terraces. The building will include a spa and fitness center, swimming pool, and 22-slip marina. Upscale hotel service will include 24-hour valet and concierge service, three hotel-like guest accommodations. The building was rebuilt in 1873 after the great Baltimore fire and was in use as a school until 2002. There are one and two-bedroom units, including four loft units. Each floor plan is unique, ranging from 602 to 1,604 square feet. Units feature hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances.
