Views at Clarendon 1210 N. Highland St. Arlington, VA 22201 Developer: First Baptist Church of Clarendon
|
IN February 25, Arlington
County recently
approved revised zoning that will now allow the development of
an eight-story residential building on the church's land. Instead of
condos, the development will become a rental property. Previously, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by neighbors. This is an unusual mixed-use development which includes a 116 unit property (assumed to be condominiums) in a 10-story building and the reconstruction of the First Baptist Church of Clarendon with the preservation of the existing 107-foot church steeple. This was approved by Arlington County in October 2004. Find more information on the church's website. |
Delivery date is unknown.
Project is on hold as of September 2006.
